This is the FC Twin. The company that manufactures this without somehow being sued by Nintendo. It plays both NES and Super NES games. Looks great on the new plasma. :)
10-15-09 These are my Mizuno running shoes. I had never heard of them until a couple weeks ago. Now I own a pair and they cost more than any shoes I've ever purchased. I guess if they help my feet they are worth it.
9-6-09 I used a plugin in Gimp to convert this to black and white. It made part of his face darker than it should be. I will try running it through again to see if I can get better results. 9-6-09
9-3-09 As a little boy in elementary school, my friends and I were always excited when we got to see the trash truck pick up the school's trash at lunch time.
6-27-09 Wind farm near Dumas, Texas. Each blade is 160 feet in length, making for whopping 320+ foot diameter circle. (The center hub adds a little bit to the diameter.)
5-28-09 This is in Dallas. There is also a store named "Condoms To Go". Ah, Dallas...we are so proud. Is it wrong that it makes me laugh when I see this sign?
5-6-09 I forgot to take a picture today, so you get an image of what Homer Simpson would look like in the flesh. I do not have this kind of skill, but you can see more at pixeloo.blogspot.com.
4-21-09 Saw this take off from the local hospital. There were at least 5 ambulances waiting along with several police and medical staff watching. I hope that whoever was in the chopper is doing okay tonight.
3-20-09 Lord of Emperors by Guy Gavriel Kay. Thanks go to Mark for recommending that I read The Lions of Al-Rassan by the same author and to Simon for recommending that book to Mark. This guy is awesome.
3-18-09 Astounding Magazine, April 1956. One of the original SF pulps. Authors such as Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov got their start in magazines like this.
3-15-09 I heart New York. I like this picture because of the sea of humanity in it and because it looks to me like the black guy in the foreground is about to walk out of the picture. But maybe it's just me. :)
