Day 15 (1-15-09)

I was playing with my webcam on my laptop. I got it working in Ubuntu Linux, which is fantastic. I used an application named Cheese to take this shot. It has special effects you can apply to the photo as seen here. Even with the funhouse mirror effect, it looks better than my last self-portrait.

Day 14 (1-14-09)

This is a banner in my church. I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be a woman, but I think they needed to edit the photo some to remove the chin hair. I don't know if you can see it as well in the crop and enlargement as I can when I see it in person.

Day 13 (1-13-09)

Self-portrait. It's obvious my wife did not marry me for my good looks. My right eye was killing me. Luckily, after a night's sleep, it no longer felt like I had a piece of gravel in my eye.

I promise that not every picture I post will be in black and white from now on. However, the color version of this one was a little too grainy because of a high ISO setting. I think the black and white helps smooth it out a little.

A Picture a Day For a Year

This is my Project 365 blog. In it, I hope to take a picture a day for 365 days and record my year. From time to time I may overlap with my other photoblog, Life As I Know It. The focus of 365 Days of Photo is to document my life, the focus of Life As I Know It is to grow as a photographer. I hope you will visit both.
